Patinated bronze figure, back of base signed by P. Phillipe, F. Goldschieder produced. Bronze plate imbedded in base, says F. Goldschieder, & shows the Foundry Vrai Bronze, Garanti, Paris. Seems to list some cities also, Vienna, Terre Cutti perhaps. Mounted on marble base of pinks with green veins. Overall 15-3/4\" high, statue 13-1/2\" high. This is original, and in excellent condition. Numbers stamped under right heel of figure, appear to be L.P. 519, 1282. I have owned this piece for 35 years. It came from a home in which the descendants of Andrew Johnson, V.P. under Lincoln lived. I cannot prove that to you, it is just the truth. This is original and in excellent condition. I do not polish it. I do wipe it with a silver cloth when I dust. I have included a sketch of the plate which is in the base.
