Beautiful Antique 1800\'s Belgium Ceramic Tile Stove Oven Cast Iron Legs European. Ch. Reneau Name Is Above One Of The Air Vents. Width-36\" X Depth 20\" - (Add 3\" Front Outside For Gallery Surround), Total Width=41\"; Total Depth=23\";30\" Tall. Weight Approximately 150 Lbs.(2) doors are 11.5\"wide x 8\"high. Right door has a bracket that needs to be bent back to accommodate the drawer. This was bent up when bobcat operator picked it up from the back. (3) DRAWERS are 8.5\"wide x 5.5\"high. PLUS, It also has the rare bottom coal bin that is not included with other stoves of this style which are sold online (shown on top of the cooktop and also in front of the stove).Drawer bottoms need new tin/metal. Circa 1800\'s, this antique Ceramic Tile Stove is an exquisite piece that could have come right out of a Williams-Sonoma catalogue. It is covered on 3 sides with beautiful patterned BLUE AND WHITE ceramic tiles. Unfortunately, a lot of these are chipped. My intent was to remove the chipped ones and replace with other tiles but time is running out for me so I am going to pass it on to someone with the time. It has solid sturdy (probably nickel-plated) cast iron feet which have a beautiful aged patina, which need to be cleaned and polished. Ceramic handles; 7\" stove plates; 10\" total for middle; 3.25\" square tiles. It also has the rare bottom coal drawer bin that is not included with other stoves of this style which are for sale online. Some of the tile stoves online state that wood could be used but I will leave that up to the buyer to research that option. The coal drawer is on wheels and the user would roll it out to shovel some coal into the bottom middle and right/ left compartments. Picture shows the side doors open and the shelf where food/ bread could be placed to bake or keep warm. There is a round hole in the top for the chimney stack to go into and then out into a chimney. There are 2 vents to introduce air into the coal burning drawers. This stove could heat a small room but not used for whole house heat-remember that these were used in the kitchens of small European homes where only the kitchen or main room would be heated and food prepared.This Antique Tile Stove is in good condition with some surface wear/rust, which is expected considering the age of this piece.
