Thanks for taking the time tovisit us at THE CHARMED COTTAGE! Hereis avery nice antique CHASE ~ LAP ROBE OR BLANKET. Usedin the days of horse drawn carriages and sleigh rides. From the 1890s or so. Made of wool, mohair, etc. Very heavy piece. This measures 48\" wide x 62\" in length. Itfeatures a beautiful floraldesign with red and pink tulips, set against a black background, and brown feathery border. Inoverall goodcondition; one small nickel size hole on top, which does not go through to the backside; see photos. A small bit of individual worn threads; design still intact.
