Antique China Head Flat Top Doll 22 1/2\" ~ Civil War Era 1860s~Gorgeous

A lovely large antique china shoulder head doll from 1860s Germany. She measures 22 1/2\" tall and has black molded flat top hair with a center part and waves on the sides and in the back. Her shoulder plate measures 5\" high and 4 1/2\" wide at the shoulders, with two sew holes in the front and the back.

She has been delicately painted with skill and care.She has blue eyes with highlights and red accent lid lines, nice rosy cheeks, a rosebud mouth, accented nostrils, and a very old homemade cloth body that could very well be original.She is wearing a beautiful maroon and lace antique dress with several under-layers - the first layer appeared to be sewn on and/or laced up tightly so I left it on when taking photos.

She is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs to her shoulder plate. The only blemishes I can see are a few of the usual small paint rubs on her hair, and a very small air bubble under one of her eyes.
