Antique Chinese fine silver and bamboo bangle of repousse facing dragon heads holding a pearl orb between on a textured dragon skin background. Ancient Chinese dragons are the most potent symbol of good fortune in the Chinese pantheon of symbols. The pearl is often depicted with Chinese dragons and represents the dragon\'s wisdom - hence the term: \"pearls of wisdom.\" The bamboo has a rich sheen showing the grain with carved animal masks on either side of the silver. There is no silver marking on the bangle, but it tested positive for silver.

The bangle can be worn at the wrist or the upper arm above the elbow. Wherever you decide to wear the bangle it displays very nicely. The inside circumference is 9 1/2\". Please take a look at the photo enlargements to see the fine details. The bangle is in very good condition with age appropriate surface nicks on the silver as you can see in the photos. The bamboo is perfect. The silver has a nice patina bringing out the dragon design. A lovely and unique addition to a fine jewelry collection! Enjoy!
