OBJECT// Antique Chinese carved Bamboo statue of a Old Man in Court Robes, very rare and highly refined small statue of a elderly man bent double, he has a great expression and the whole piece has a good sense of movement, very much what we would call a Scholars Table object, this could be possible very early, the hair is in the ming style, i would think at least late 18th century, dating from the Qing Dynasty, superb colour and patina, serious collectors object.
CONDITION// VeryGood, small loss to one shoulder.
SIZE// 7 by 3.5 CM.
