This quilt has wonderful chrome calico yellow paired with turkey red.

Nice and early, this dates as early as the Civil War era!

Beautiful pattern called \"Robbing Peter to Pay Paul\", a very difficult pattern using precise curves throughout.

It is hand quilted at 6-7 stitches per inch and has some quilted grid work with squares that measure just 1\" x 1\"

It is hand bound. The edge detail is absolutely breathtaking, with teeny sawtooth triangles.

It measures 80\" x 79\"

This quilt is in good condition. There are a couple of color lifting spots ranging from about lentil size to about quarter size, some are a grayish white and some are a light peachy color, there are several spots on the back also, and there is a seam opening in one corner. (See photos.) There is also some extremely light age tanning and fold lines on the back that were too light to photograph.
