Beautiful and rare cranberry red colored art nouveau Gorham antique glass perfume bottle with sterling silver overlay. Marked D 941 with the Gorham hallmark consisting of the lion passant , anchor and a Gothic letter \" G\". This particular hallmark indicates that this was made in the last quarter of the nineteenth century. Also marked 999 and 1000. This bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The sterling does, however need to be cleaned. I did not want to take away its patina, so I\'m leaving it up to the buyer to do. The cartouche in the front has never been monogrammed. There are a few small spots that need to be buffed out.
