This is an antique hand painted DoultonBurslem vase signed JP Hewitt. The vase stands about 11\" tall and 6 \" wide at the widest point.Made in England, this beautiful hand-painted vase was made by the DoultonBurslem studio.Marked on the underside: Doulton Burlslem Signed \'JP Hewitt

The vase is in excellent condition.

The vase was painted and signed by the artist J.P. Hewitt.Jack Hewitt had worked at Doulton\'s Lambeth Studio in the 1870\'s before joiningthe Doulton\'s Burslem studio in 1884.Jack worked at the Burslem studio until 1893, specializing in figure subjects,both classical and allegorical.This vase depicts several beautiful paneled scenes, my description can\'t do it justice so please see the pictures. This is one of the finest Doulton vases I have ever seen.
