For sale today we have a charming early 1900s Kirby, Beard & Co sewing kit!
This kit consists of 5 tools (most with fancy Mother of Pearl handles or designs), a quantity of original darning thread and eight original packets of needles, all of different sizes or brands!
If that wasn\'t enough, these interesting and useful items are housed in their own special sewing box which is croc skin effect on the outside and a luscious purple on the inside!
Because this was a used and relied upon set it is far from pristine.
The box has wear to the outside and a little dust to the interior nooks.
The tools have light corrosion to the metal and one has a break to the pearl handle.
Finally, the needles and thread all look superb but in one instance there\'s corrosion while the rest are sure to be missing one or two from their packs.
Despite its imperfections this is a lovely set which would be as at home on display as it would be being used again

Our standard delivery service within the UK is 2nd Class Recorded (3-5 working days).
Our standard delivery service for international parcels is Airmail or International Tracked (7-14 working days).
Heavier items will be sent by courier.
All items are insured so if the worst happens you won\'t lose out.
We will always combine postage and give a discount where possible.
Buyers in New Zealand should use Australian postage rates
- Payment - We\'re pretty flexible with payments but communication is the key - if you can\'t pay right away or have any special requirements, please let us know, we won\'t bite!
We accept Paypal, cheque, bank transfer, postal orders, registered cash or cash in hand if you\'re local and want to collect.
If you pay by cheque we\'ll send your item out once the cheque has cleared (5-7 working days usually).
