Early splint gathering basket. I really don\'t know a lot about baskets. Appears sturdy though does have a few breaks, and is slightly out of shape. Not sure if Ash or Oak. It measures about 15-1/2 long by 12-1/2 wide, is 4 inches deep, and is 10 inches tall to top of handle. It has a solid wood handle. Please view my many pictures. From a smoke free home.
