This Vienna bronze sculpture is stamped under a tail feather of the dead bird \" GESCHUTZT 1870\". I couldn\'t get a good photo for you because its so inaccessible. But the photo is listed.
My great great uncle sold bronzes on the road and this is one of his last pieces that I have.
Depicting an owl after it kills a bird. Not pleasant, but incredible work.
Original piece, not repainted!
