This is one of the earliest electric bells I have ever seen…I am guessing 1870’s-80’s. It measures 6 ½” deep with 4 ¾” diameter ornate cast brass or bronze bell having worn (but pretty good) nickel plated finish. There is a large cast iron clapper and a fairly skeletal cast iron frame on which is mounted a large copper coil. The bell has great, loud tone and exceptionally nice Eastlake inspired cast designs.
