A vintage Art Nouveau ebony hairbrush, made in the very early part of the 20th century.
The brush is marked EBONY on one edge.Sterling silver mount on the back, hallmarked for London 1913.The maker\'s mark is H F D & Co (H F Daltrey).
A nice, old-fashioned brush.Six-and-a-half inches long.Condition:

The brush is in good condition.

The bristles are soft, and the wood is smooth.

The silver shield has some scratches from normal use.

The brush (bristles side) needs a thorough clean, as it has accumulated dust over several decades, as you can see.
