An exquisite, Edwardian wedding dress or tea dress - stunning hand embroidery. The hand embroidered floral motifs with drawn threadwork detailing are exquisite. It appears to be made from a very fine linen.The dress is very tiny - perfect for a petite bride-to-be! It has a high, scalloped hand embroidered neck and long sleeves with 10 cloth covered buttons at the wrist - It is in very good condition. It may have been made as a wedding dress, and would certainly make a stunning contemporary wedding gown. It has a sweet heart necklace and then covered in sheer linen to the neck. The neck has 3 button enclosures and there is a side zipper the dress has a 21\' GRADUATED TRAIN. There are tiny cream/tan seed pearls that run the length of the neckline in the front and in the back.

There are a few tiny spots and a few places with loose seems. Please look at the photograph. This dress was handmade. The embroidery is a 5 petal flower and trailing vines with leaves down the front of the bodice. The bodice is lined. The skirt, arms and upper chest are sheer.

Antique Beauty 1900\'s Edwardian Hand Spun Gown made from a fine batiste cotton in rare whisper blue. Entirely hand embellished and crafted with love. This piece certainly required dozens, if not hundreds, of hours in time to create. The lace and crochet are really some of the finest I have ever seen in person, the sleeve embellishment is phenomenal. Featuring an era characteristic fit with a raised neckline that has concealed boned stays for structure. The bodice buttons down the back with a fitted waist that fastens with hook and eye closures in the back. Fitted waist and full skirt.
