This is an ANTIQUE HEAVY METAL EGYPTIAN PHARAOH - SPHINX STATUE that stands on a MARBLE BASE. The metal is heavy and solid and might be bronze with a gold-ish tone. He is in an standing upright position, carrying a jug on his head. On the back is an inscription, as shown in photos. This solid piece weighs about 3 pounds 4 1/2 ounces. The statue is 9 1/2 inches tall, including the 5/8 of an inch marble base. Beautiful, solid & heavy old piece.
