Up for sale is this wonderful estate antique English sterling silver ornate daffodil motif dresser mirror from a Washington D.C. metropolitan area estate! Brought to you with , this gorgeous quality item would be an excellent adornment to any ladies vanity. Dated with the \"f\" 1905 date mark, Lion sterling passant and Birmingham anchor city hallmarks. Silversmith mark \"S.C.J\" is unknown to me. It weighs approximately 7.955 troy ounces WITH the mirror. Exact weight of the sterling silver is unknown without taking out the mirror and filler. It measures approximately 9.25 inches tall by 5.0 inches wide. The mirror does have some spotting and some blemishes around the mirror edge that is difficult to see or catch in a photo but is consistent with age. There is some wear/indentations on the handle resting points and engraved security identification numbers on the back as seen in the photos which could be restored by a reputable silversmith.
