Offered for sale is an antique bronze inkwell. The gold gilt bronze features a cherub or putti resting on the hinged lid. The base of the inkwell is very ornate with swirls. There is a glass liner in the well. I have highlighted two spots to the gilding of the base. Neither spot detracts from the overall quality of the piece.
The inkwell is 3 3/4 inches high, 6 1/2 across and 4 3/4 inches deep. I believe the inkwell is French or European but there are no marks on the piece. (F289rec) Attention International Buyers
