This sale is for an Antique F B Rogers Silverplate Round Dish. I am not a silver expert, but in doing some research, this piece appears to have been made between 1883 and early 1900\'s. Research also showed that the \"quadruple\" was dropped around 1912/1916. Very unique, ornate design. It is marked with the Crown and F B Rogers 1883 Silver Co. to the left/right, Quadruple, Taunton, Mass. It is numbered with 1524 on the piece as you can see from the pictures. It is aprox. 2 7/8\" wide and 7/8\" tall. There are some light scratches and patina that are not uncommon with the age of the item. I have not seen other pieces like this one in pattern or design. This item will work well as a small candy dish, salt dish or serving item. It would also be a \"beautiful\" addition to a vanity for trinkets.
