FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION - At sale:A vintage 1946 era Farnsworth ET-069 tube AM radio in an art deco maple wood cabinet. This radio was fired up this afternoon before packing it, and it works great. We were able to tune in all our local AM stations. The maple wood cabinet is all original complete with original knobs and cloth speaker cover. I cleaned and polished the wood and the maple grain is fabulous. However, please note photos of the bottom where there is wear typical of an item of this age. The glass slide rule AM dial scale is in fantastic condition with crisp graphics, orange/redish dial scale pointer and working dial light. The original back panel is present and is tight and secure. The antenna system mounts onto the back panel and is shown in the photos. Also included in this sale is an exterior wood antenna which was installed on the radio before I took it off to photograph and then wrap for shipping. From what I could tell when I had the back off the chassis is in great condition. This radio would turn heads in any room it is displayed in. Vintage radios are wonderful but unique pieces of the past. They are NOT like today’s radios. Care must be taken in the placement of these radios within any room. Their signal can be impacted by any number of our modern day appliances. Oh, and I guess I should also warn that tube radios need to warm up before they start playing!! So give it more than a second or two to get powered up. This beautiful radio is approximately 13\" long 6\" wide & 8-1/2\" high.

This and the other items that I have up for sale come from the family or extended family of a copper baron from Utah. I do my best in researching and describing all my items.
