Cabinet with Drawer and Key~~~(19th Century c. 1880s)

~~This is an outstanding French oak Gothic Black Forest bookcaseor cabinet with upper drawer~~~just in from our recent French estate purchase! Exquisitely carved lion\'s mask corners with brass rings and beautiful Black Forest fruit, nuts and ribbon elements. Highly carved door with lion\'s mask center medallion, sunburst accent and Jacobean style framing. Key is included, although old locksare often finicky and never guaranteed. Original brass teardrop hardware on upper drawer.

Wonderful Gothic style from the late 19th century era! Nice SLIM profile~~~only 14 1/4\" inches deep and 27 1/2\" wide~~~ fits in smaller spaces! Two (2) removable interior shelves inside lower cabinet. This piece has a rich oak patina. High quality,detailed craftsmanship in this wonderful 19th century antique piece. S
