Of exceptional quality, comprising of alternating various fine wood veneers and white enamel in an intricate geometric pattern (also called parquetry) on the lid and body. Mounted with gilt bronze trim along the lid and base. Resting on four ornate gilt bronze feet. Having a lock at the front. Hinged lid opens to reveal a satin or silk lined interior showing wear and age. In overall good antique condition. Patina and general wear to bronze mounts. No missing inlay. There are some small bits of loss to the enamel and wear from age. Measures 7 7/8\" length x 4 3/8\" width x 3 5/8\" height
