This Beautiful French Jester Boy Doll, sits 24\" tall on stand, and the stand is not included, it is for picture purposes only. He also will stand, on a taller (standing )stand. He is signed on the base of neck, Mary Lambeth \'94. Signed also on the back middle of the head is, F.G., for Francois Gaultier, a French Doll Maker, who made dolls from 1860-1916. At the top of back of head is marked 1982 SCS S-88, for, Seely\'s Ceramic Service, a NY company that made doll molds for doll making, the #88 was probably the mold model number. Also on the neck is the number 10.He is composed of a Jointed Composition Body, and a Bisque Head, with adoreable blue eyes. He wears a 100% Mohair Wig, by Global Dolls Corp. The wig is remove-able, and still has the tag which reads: Model: B. Lauren, size 13-14,color - Dk.Blonde.
He is wearing a beautiful Antique French Velvet, Pantin Style Outfit, in colors of burgundy, creme & sage greens, with heavy embellishments.His knickers are attached to his vest style shirt with 3/4 layered sleeves. He wears full length stocking socks and french aladdin style slippers. All topped off with a matching french embellished hat....This is an absolutely gorgeous doll, wearing a stunning Antique French Outfit, by Mary Lambeth.
He does have scratch marks on the body, under his arms from the body stand, as this is considered normal. Please see all of the photos of this fine young man for the best description.
