Fabulous huge antique wrought iron rack. Craft french item - handmade

It was originallyused for drying wine bottles after they were washed for reuse by the vintner.

Thewine makers would keep various racks of different shapes and heights in the basement ofthe winery. Circa 1880s. This fabulous rack is the rarest that we \'ve never seen, 90 hooks and alsomuch easier and practical to use in your farmhouse decor, because it is only 8 inches wide !

90 hooks and only 8 inches wide at the base, it is fantastic.

This rack has 12 (2*6) tiersand 90 [(3*8)+(3*7)]*2 extended bars/hooks that are affixed to the 2 flat frames inversed V shaped .

Rack measures 25 inches tall (including the hooks) , 28 inches long, from 8 inches at the base to 3.5 inches at the top wide.

Despite its many hooks and large vertical surface, this rack is very stable due to its very significant weight !

Rack wide decreases upward. Great vintage patina. We have left asfound with its original rare red painting. Perfect piece for your coffee mugs orsmall drinking glasses as I show in the 6th photo. Of course, you can also display your favorite winebottles (once empty and cleaned) on the rack, too. A very functional pieces ofantique French history.
