This listing features a Antique French Very Ornate Gilt & Marble Mantel Clock. I don\'t know anything about clocks of this age so I took a bunch of pictures. Also, please ask any questions you might have. It appears, to me, in great condition for its age. I see scattered wear in the gilting. I don\'t know whatrepairs would look like to the body of this but I don\'t see anything out of the ordinary. The marble is in great shape with no chips or cracks. I am able to wind both of the dials on the face. Ialso can hear the clock tick and I can see the minute hand move. I don\'t know how to make it chime. I don\'t know what/if anything will need to be worked on or repaired. It includes the leather? base mat. It measures approx. 15\" W X 16\" T X 5 1/4\" D. Nice!
