I believe the wood is mohogany and it needs 2 glass doors good solid not shaky good sturdy piece of furniture, it is 5 pieces high and all original, believe to be from the 1930s from what i was told do not let this one slip by 34-in. tall & all original -- the labels on the inside of the bottom 2 book cases reads as follows --Globe Wernicks -- Sectional Bookcase -- Made in Cinn.
