Fan works on high only

Oscillating gears and shroud are missing. 

This fan is in need of some restoration. Please look at the pictures carefully. The cord is in rough shape and the wire frame around the fan is a little out of shape and one of the wire frame pieces is broken off on one end. 

I guess basically what you need here is a new cord, straighten out the wire frame a little bit, clean up the brass, replace the oscillating gears and cover, fix the variable speed switch and this fan should be in great shape after that.  

Of course if you don\'t care about the multiple speeds and you don\'t care about the oscillating , the fan works fine just the way it is and it runs quietly.

I always stand by my descriptions and my the items that I sell. But this thing is very old and I am just not comfortable giving any guarantees on this. So you are basically buying this as is. This fan works right now and it will be very carefully packed but there are no guarantees here. It works now and I think it\'ll work fine when it gets to you but I can\'t really control if something inside this fan gets jiggled loose on the trip. 

I assume the person buying this would want to restore it or at least know how to deal with issues on it that come up but if that\'s not you and you are just expecting to get a perfectly good working fan, this might not be the fan for you.
