Here is an antique 18-19th Century Georgian enamel snuff box with a lovely hand painted scene on the lid of a shepherd and shepherdess near a tree, their sheep are in the background having a rest, along with the shepherd who looks to be having a snooze.
Rectangular in shape, the body of the box has hand painted flowers on each base section.
.....and under the lid.
The lid frame has come unstuck from the base.
The inside is relatively clean but has a spider crack and some enamel damage near the top corner.
It measures approx 2. 1/2 inches x 2 inches x 1. 1/2 inches in height.

It is in fair condition, it does have some chips / bruising to the enamel in several places on this box, see pics, and the lid painted scene has damage to the enamel on one top corner revealing the metal underneath, but overall a box that still displays well.
Remember too the lid and frame are LOOSE from the main bottom of the box.

If you return the item because you\'ve changed your mind, and there is no error in the description, return postage will not be refunded.
