We are now accepting offers for this lovely antique solid 800 sterling silver earrings backed with 9 ct gold sheeting, and gold wires. Each earring is set with a diamond in the stud and 3 diamonds, one in each leaf or petal. Diamond are old mine 18th century cut, They are not faceted like modern diamonds and are old mine cut. They are not marked because they were custom made for a bride for her wedding, as was the custom within wealthy families at the time. They in excellent condition and have just been cleaned and polished. They were purchased from a European jeweler a several years ago. They are original, not a reproduction. They have a patina appropriate with their making, age and use. They would make a lovely holiday gift, wedding or shower gift. They are a gift she\'ll love for years to come, which she can pass down to her children and grandchildren as a treasured heirloom.
See photos for full description. Photos are taken with direct and indirect light. The earrings were made with a dark patina which is intact. They appear brighter and with a blue cast when photographed using direct light and magnification. When worn they are some where in the middle. They have a patina, but it is a little lighter in person. The other Bride\'s pieces offered separately were purchased at the same time from the same European jeweler.
