Presented for your consideration is this neat antique wall hanging. It is a paper punch embroidered textile piece with a religious motto written in German. The motto loosely translates to \"In Our House We Serve the Lord.\" In the middle is a die cut cherub that has been affixed to the perforated paper. Lettering is velvet with gold gilt edging and there is gold accenting on the leaves. All handmade and all stitches appear to be intact and tight. Nice, intricate detailing is present throughout. The motto is framed in a walnut, shadow box style frame with gold colored edging on the inside square. A loop bracket is on the back to easily place the motto on a wall. This neat, antique wall hanging would make a great addition to any textile collection!

There is some crazing of the gold paint on the frame. General cosmetic wear from age is on the frame. Small light brown stains are on the paper around the cherub. Other than the stains, the embroidered motto is free of damage. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details.

Embroidered piece alone measures 12\" tall and 10\" wide. Entire piece measures 17\" tall, 15\" wide and 2 3/4\" deep.
