Antique German Modelled Bisque Man as Soldier w Matching Picture in Ormulu Frame:

This is a one of kind find, a wonderful antique bisque doll, a man dressed as a soldier. He has molded and painted hair, molded ears, brown eyes and a jaunty brown painted mustache. His hands and feet are bisque as well, his hand crudely modelled, his painted boots with heels. He wears a colorful uniform with epaulettes and cuffs. a braid belt and tiny metal buttons down the front. A sword hangs from his belt. He stands 7 1/4\" tall, a perfect doll house size. But there is more, he comes with worn ormulu framed picture of a man dressed in an identical costume. I never wanted to damage it by taking it apart, but it looks like a framed hand colored photograph. This measures 5 5/8 x 2 7/8\". I used this in the parlor of my doll house, but it displays just as well on its\' own. The photo from the back, due to light, makes him look like he has paint loss on the back of his head. He does not, I took a second closer one so this can be seen. My asking price is much less than what I paid for it, but I will consider offers.
