I recently acquired this gorgeous antique corkscrew at an estate sale in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was drawn to it for the soft worn patina of the wooden handle. I researched it and found an identical one (or almost) listed by an seller in Germany and they noted that it was German and antique so I am going by that description. Please judge for yourself using zoom feature on each photo. The wooden handle portion is 3 1/8\" and the total height of the metal portion into and to the top of the wood is 4 3/8\". Photos don\'t do justice to this great corkscrew. MY QUALIFICATIONS I am not an expert but try to extensively research the pieces that I list.
