Antique early clip-on Christmas Tree pine cone form candle shade / holder to clip on your Christmas tree.
Frosted pink color pine cone rises above small green pine boughs. Thin and delicate glass , but with a strong metal clip.
Dates to approx. 1900 and most likely made in Germany. Glass chimney is 2 ⅞\" high, diameter across top is ⅞\".
Paint has faded, but sufficient remains to determine original colors. .
Excellent condition - no cracks or damages noted. There is some rust on the clip and the clip spring, minor. There is a small brownish / blackish spot on the inner rim of the glass from a burning candle and some evidence of that. This was used on someone\'s early tree. See the photos.
These are becoming nearly impossible to find.
