Up for the sale is an antique (Ca. 1926) sterling silver 5 pieces set by the renowned American Gorham company (pics. 1-2).It consists of:- a 2 3/8 pints coffee pot(pics. 3-4) - 9 1/2\" tall to the tip and 10 1/2\" wide at the widest point, 721 grams;- a 2 pints tea pot (pics. 5-6) - 7\" tall to the tip and 12\" wide at the widest point, 632 grams;- a 5/8 pints creamer (pic. 7) - 6\" tall to the top of a handle and 5 1/2\" wide, 226 grams;- a sugar bowl with a lid (pic. 8) - 6 1/2\" tall to the tip and 8 1/8\" wide at the widest point, 391 grams;- a waist bowl (pic. 9) - 4 1/4\" tall at the lifted sides and 6 1/8\" wide at the widest point, 219 grams.
The total weight of the set is 2,189 grams = 70-71 oz t.
The coffee and the tea pots have inserts on the handles (pic. 10).All the pieces carry a similar engraved monogram (pic. 11) and marked on the bottom as shown on pic. 12 with the different numbers.
It is in a very good used condition with a couple of tine dings.Will be shipped within 5 days after the payment with thorough packing. I combine shipments, if you buy more than one item please wait for my invoice. I also accept wire transfers.
