Lovely, vintage hand carved bookends are so weathered, worn and show some character! Lovely carvings! These sculptures appear to be bookends (though they are not heavy) they have a deliberate design where they can rest on a table, flat against a book (though they could probably be hung on a wall if you preferred). These are beautiful and I have not seen another like them! The hand carving has nice balance and is quite nice! There are no markings of any sort on these. One measures 7 3/4\" H x 4 7/8\" W x 3 1/4\" Deep (approx), the other measures a little over 7 5/8\" H x 4 3/4\" W x 3 1/2\" Deep (approx). One of a kid set!
