This Antique Persian Bowl is superb. It has all the qualities of a fine work of Middle Eastern Folk Art. The hand painting is extremely labor intensive and intricate. The flow of the animals and vegetation against a crimson sky are simply outstanding. It has been well taken care of and has only been used for display in a glass cabinet. Persian antiques of this quality are becoming more and more difficult to find. This particular bowl is truly exceptional. It measures 7.5 inches wide by just over 4 inches tall. The interior is black lacquer as well as the bottom and outside rim in contrast to the extraordinary coloration. It is being offered from our collection for the first time.
