Antique Handmade Cow Horn SNUFF or PILL BOX 19th Century SCOTTISH SILVER THISTLE

Description:An antique hand-crafted cow horn box decorated with a silver thistle, that we found in Scotland. It may be a snuff box, but it is absolutely clean inside and out, no residue of any kind. So, possibly a pill box would be a better guess. It is an oval, 2\" long, 1 1/2\" wide, 7/8\" high and is in excellent antique condition. I find no damage to the horn. The tip of one of the silver leaves is off and the thistle itself is a bit loose. Please enlarge our photos for close views of the condition and design.
