This is a beautiful Antique Haviland & Co. Limoges Hand Painted China, Porcelain Chocolate Pot - Stamped clearly H&C L France- Haviland & Co. Limoges. Also has markings inside of lid shown in photos. This beautiful piece has been a cherished family heirloom for so very many years.

It is from the Antique Victorian era from Haviland of Limoges, France. There are dainty pink flowers and light sage greens adorning the outside. There is gorgeous brushed gold trim on the top handle of the lid & around the spout and lots of gold brushing all along the serving handle that appears to be done in a ribbon like pattern. There is also gold brushing all around the bottom. I believe that it is hand painted. It does appear from the detail that it is. The rim of the cover has a beautiful scalloped and raised pattern around the outer edge.

Measurements: 10 ½ tall from the top of the lid handle to the bottom

6 ½ wide at the widest part.

The H & Co. L France backstamp is green. And has the Haviland & Co Limoges also stamped on bottom & Under the Lid. Please See All Pics.

***** Please note has few Minor imperfections. Considering its Age it\'s in Beautiful shape: Inside has ring of discoloration on bottom side Under the ledge you have to tip it sideways to notice(possible could be washed out, I wasn\'t sure what to wash with its not been washed (many years just dusted /wet rag occasionally only and it\'s simple Beautiful)lid has small chip under lip and has Lil less than 3/4 inch shallow chip on bottom of pot...I tryed my best to show Imperfections in photos.(pls disregard some shadowing in lid from light while taking pic) Pls see Pics for best description.
