MAGNIFICENT FINE HALLMARKED EDWARDIAN LARGE SILVER MESH BAG

Early 20th-century (1914) solid sterling silver antique large (15cm wide) mesh bag.

It is made with very fine dense, smaller loop size chained mesh, giving it a silky smooth feel. The high density of the mesh also gives the bag a nice weighty and sturdy feel .

The clasps has a pair of lovely bluecabochons.

The interior has a dual compartment design, so the bag is made up of 3 layers of mesh.

Each of the individual chain on the strap is marked with \'925\'.

It bears the hallmarks and Import marks and 925 stamps of the reputableGoldsmiths & Silversmiths of London.

A beautiful genuine antique silver mesh bag of just over 100 years old of exceptional quality - ie fine dense mesh, dual compartment, hallmarked links and relatively large.
