ANTIQUE EGERMANN DECANTER
Striking antique large, heavy, cut to clear ruby Bohemian glass decanter measuring a whopping 14\" tall. Shaped like a \"genie\" bottle with bulbous base, short foot, elongated neck, ground collar and matching solid ground stopper with cut portholes and swirl decoration. Accented with a variety of detailed, hand cut designs including castles, swallows, latticework, swirls, vertical beading and a leaping stag, condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage -- underside foot is clear. Although unmarked, this was made by the Egermann Fredrich Company in the 19th century in Bohemia. Just a large, gorgeous old decanter bottle - size really makes a statement, and design which wraps the body of the piece is beautifully executed. Wonderful addition to any ruby red Bohemian glass collection or display Shown with a small cordial to give you an indication of the large size!
