What I have to offer for your viewing pleasure here is this beautiful antique Victorian woodcut engraved print! Most likely originally from one of the German magazines of the day such as the famed Illustrirte Zeitung it is a woodblock engraved print by Hugo Groffer of the 16th century painting "The Holy Cecilia" of the patron saint of musicians by Carlo Dolci (1616-1686). The type at the bottom translates to "After a photograph from the publisher of Ud. Brown and Co. in Dornach and Paris representative Hugo Groffer in Leipzig". It is in good overall condition for its age with at torn off piece towards the bottom right corner and remnants of another page adhered to the right border. It measures 16.25" long by 11.5" wide.
