Offered is this rare antique Imperial Russian enamelled Coronation cup from the coronation of Czar Nicholas II in 1896, known as the Cup of Sorrows or Khodynka in memory of the many who died during a stampede to be given one of the cups, after a rumour spread through the crowd that they each contained a gold coin.

Excellent condition, minimal wear.
