Here is a very beautiful antique Imperial Russian solid silver niello teaspoon made in Moscow by Ivan Alexeyev between 1876 and 1894 (the date mark has been badly struck). The spoon is made from 84 (.875 or 87.5%) silver the Russian standard at the time. The spoon is in fantastic condition with little to no wear of the niello. The niello depicts the Cathedral of St Basil in Moscow on the Red Square.The spoon weighs approximately 23 grammes and is about 13.5 cm in length.Sold as seen in the photographs so please study them carefully.
