Antique Imperial Russian silver Jewish Etrog box of classical oval form, Russia, circa 1900.
DETAILS: solid silver decorated with hand engraved floral motifs, hinged lid with scroll handle, raised on four leaf and flowers carved legs, on the top of the lid engraved square cartouche specifically designed for custom Hebrew engravings, gilded interior, bottom and the lid fully hallmarked with Imperial Russian assay office mark “84” zolotnics, the Russian Imperial Double Head Eagle and the silversmith mark in Cyrillic “MX”.
