A gorgeous Arita Imari oil lamp with French Ormolu Mounts. This oil lamp came from an antique sale in Brussels, Belgium in the 1970\'s and has been electrified. The lamp mounts are ormolu gold gilt brass or copper and I was told they are French. The porcelain vase is a beautiful Imari vase from the late Meiji Era, circa 1890\'s. This is a higher quality piece of Imari and uses the resist paint method for the blue cobalt, a difficult process normally seen on the best or higher quality pieces. It was rewired in 1970\'s. It works great.Lamp and vase are in excellent shape with no damage. Theball glass shade is alsoin excellent shape, I don\'t know if it is the original shade but it looks nice. Lamp measures 21\" inches to the top of shade. The vase is approx. 9-1/2\" inches high and 20-1/2\" inches in circumference at widest point. A nice decor item and investment piece.
