This charming cricket box has been in my family forever. We were told when we bought it over 5 decades ago that it was over 200 years old.
Beautiful, simple cloisonne like only the Japanese do. Two of the silver tigers are missing but because they are from opposite
corners of the top, it still looks great and balanced. Do not be alarmed by the petrified newts inside........we find them near the creek....
