Japanese Sumida Gawa ware. Very collectible. The artist\'s signature in a blue & white cartouche looks like Ishiguru Koko, which puts it at around 1900. Depicts a wise old man in green, plus white/blue traditional robes.
This used to be my mother\'s. Displayed on a shelf for years and has some minor damage. Left handle was broken and stuck back at some time; wise man\'s staff has lost its end. Considering its age, however, it\'s still a lovely display piece.

I use recycled packaging wherever possible. Due to the delicate nature of this piece, I will pack inside a larger box with lots of bubble wrap & polystyrene - which makes it a Medium-sized parcel. I\'m suggesting Signed-for 2nd class postage (includes fee).Please ask if you prefer alternative postage etc.
