Fresh from a local estate sale here is an antique Kepi styled hat or cap, this was from a local estate sale near Johnstown known as Conemaugh there is a Orthodox as well as a Byzantine catholic church within blocks of each other, this hat has the metal Orthodox-Byzantine styled cross, the wheat cluster and on one side is the number 608 the other SOJ, i am guessing this was some type of a parade or ceremony hat. The hat is structurally solid and complete buy as you can see there are moth holes mostly on the top.
