This pocket watch looks a lot better on the inside than on the outside! I believe it is what is called a Hunters case, but I know nothing about old pocket watches. The key to wind it is attached, but I have not tried to wind it. The front of the openedwatch reads on the white dial JOSEPH GILBERT GENEVA. There is an inset at the bottom which I suppose is a second hand.When you open the other side of the watch, the back of the watch is engraved \"Patent Lever FULL JEWELLED Hands No 13308 Joseph Gilbert GENEVA\". ON the inside of the case is engraved a small \"7\" and the initials J.T. in an oval. I am not sure that I am reading the initials correctly. There\'s some small numbers incised at the bottom which may be 3308. There\'s some other engraving I can\'t make out. One may be a four digit date starting with 17. This watch is very old. Ithas been stored in a trunk for many years. Shipping will be $5.50. Thanks for looking!
