This is an antique late 19th century oil painting of a little girl in its original gold gilt frame.

I would estimate it dates circa 1880s or 1890s.

The overall frame measures 10 5/8 inches x 12 1/2 inches (27 cm x 31.7 cm). The oil painting and frame back opening size both measure 8 inches x 10 inches (20.3 cm x 25.4 cm). The frame molding width measures 1 5/8 inches (4.1 cm).

The little girl in the painting is definitely not happy at the moment. You could call her sad, mad, angry or even a naughty girl. But there\'s just something so cute and sweet about her. Like she\'s going through a rough time. Her cat/kitten is at her feet.

The painting is in very good condition. There is a small scratch in the top left corner and some scattered white dots to the finish.

The frame is very high-quality. It is covered in decorative applied composition and gold gilded. It has some scratches and nicking, most notably on the inner liner. It goes beautifully with the painting.

The entire piece weighs a little under 1 lb. 11 oz. (758 g).
